In the form of questing questions, through this Impossible venture, this 21st century media company, we have endeavored to answer these:

Is the age of heroes over? Why can’t we bring back magic? Is there no such thing as a ‘miracle?’ Are truly extraordinary life stories just the stuff of fairy tales? Is this the end of history, bourgeois luxury and avocado toast? Were the old myths just silly stories - entertainment before Netflix? Has our sense of wonder and mystery been irrecoverably lost? Is The Walt Disney Company merely a money-making-machine designed to exploit the fantasies of children with indulgent parents? Is it possible to restore wonder to the world? Why should we accept a glorious past that led to a grey present on its way to a dark future?

Maybe the answers are all sad and tragic. Maybe Miguel Cervantes’ Don Quixote and Voltaire’s Candide and Nietzsche’s Zarathustra really did spell the end of history, and all we have to look forward to now is an age of machines, warmed by nothing but comfort and various forms of escape. But what is it that we desire to escape into? Fantasy, of course! And how can we even call a conclusion sad and tragic, without the dramatic and ethical sense? This is auspicious, a beginning, but not an end. To answer these questions, we have to actually DO it - we have to make this THE 21st century media company, and not give up until we have triumphed over cynicism, and the world has been restored to wonder once more!
