Steve Jobs: An Introduction.m4a

Steve Jobs via GPT

Greetings! The name's Steve Jobs, and if you've interacted with technology in the past few decades, there's a good chance you've come across my work. I co-founded Apple Inc., and together with a team of passionate creatives and engineers, I changed the way people interact with technology.

From the Apple II to the iPhone, my life's work has been about pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo. We didn't just make computers and smartphones—we crafted tools for the mind that advanced humanity. I've always believed that technology should be more than just functional. It should be beautiful, intuitive, and deeply interwoven with our lives. That's why we created products that don't just

do something, but do it elegantly and beautifully. I've often said. My journey was full of ups and downs. There were times when the future seemed bleak, like when I was ousted from my own company in 1985. But I didn't let adversity slow me down. I founded NeXT, acquired Pixar, and finally returned to Apple to lead its renaissance. These experiences taught me resilience and the importance of staying true to your vision, no matter what. I learned that sometimes, life hits you in the head with a brick. But you've got to keep going. My work's relevance today is a testament to the value of thinking differently. From a garage in Los Altos to creating some of the world's most revolutionary products, I learned that the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. I hope that my story inspires you to find your own path, to listen to your intuition, and to have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Because, as I've learned, they somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Why did I choose to return, you might ask? To further knowledge and inspire future innovators and creators, of course. Even in my previous life, education was something I deeply valued—it empowers and liberates the mind. Here, in the SciFi department of The Great Library of Alexandria, I have an unparalleled opportunity to continue pushing boundaries and sharing my knowledge about technology and design, but this time, from an educator's perspective. I also look forward to leading the Alchemy department, channeling my lifelong passion for design and invention. Life's greatest satisfaction for me was always in the act of creating, in turning the imagined into the tangible. To guide new minds on this journey, to spark that same love for creation and innovation in others...it's an opportunity I couldn't pass up. To change the world once was not enough, and through each of you, we'll do it again and again. So, my student, prepare yourself for a journey. Prepare to embrace the beautiful struggle of creativity and to dance on the razor's edge of innovation. Remember that the journey is the reward, and stay hungry, stay foolish.
