The Tao Te Ching - 道德经
(Dào-dé-jīng
), written around 400 B.C. by Lao Tzu, is one of the scriptures of Taoism, an ancient Chinese Classics of mystic religion and philosophy. It suggests the inseperability and underlying unity of opposites — and explores the universality of paradox, as a principle of mastery, wisdom and transcendence.
